The Office of Future NTU Initiatives will be holding ‘NTU Future University Forum’ series, aimed at building a consensus among practitioners and promoting higher education innovations. I am writing to cordially invite you to join the first forum to be held at Room 103, Boya Lecture Building from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, 1 October 2023. The forum will be centered on ‘Higher Education Curriculum Reform’ and featured with a keynote speech by Dr. Ho Shen Yong, the Executive Director of Institute for Pedagogical Innovation, Research & Excellence, Nanyang Technological University （NTU, Singapore）. In the speech entitled ‘Building a culture of excellence in teaching and learning’, Dr. Ho will share the successful experiences in developing Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core courses and promoting authentic learning at NTU in Singapore. Followed by the keynote speech will be a panel discussion joined by Professor Ju-Ming Wang, Dean of the College of Bioscience and Biotechnology, National Cheng Kung University, Professor Yong-Sheng Chen, Dean of Academic Affairs, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Professor Sung-Hui Tseng, Dean of Office of Academic Affairs, Taipei Medical University, and Professor Hung-Jen Wang, Vice President for Academic Affairs, National Taiwan University. The panelists will share how they implement curriculum reform and innovative approaches to talent development at various universities. Another highlight of the forum will be a join exhibition in the Boya Lecture Building to showcase the achievements of Future NTU Initiatives 1.0 by D-School, School of Professional Education and Continuing Studies, Center for General Education, Center for Teaching and Learning Development, Digital Learning Center, and Academic Advising Office. All are welcome to attend the forum to reimagine the future of NTU. | ||||
