The Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering invites applications for several full-time tenure-track positions starting from August 1, 2020 at all levels in the fields of Opto-Mechatronics and Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. For the Opto-Mechatronics positions, preference will be given to those with off-shore wind energy （power systems or power grids） or industrial AI backgrounds. Preference will also be given to those who can teach analog/digital circuits, electronics, electromagnetics, control, signals & systems, or offshore wind power generation, grid and network. For the Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering positions, preference will be given to those who can teach naval architecture, ocean engineering, structural engineering, or vibration. Preference will also be given to those with structure, vibration, solid mechanics, acoustics, ship and ocean engineering experiments, ship maneuvering, underwater vehicle, underwater acoustics, underwater technology, and ocean energy backgrounds. A doctoral degree is required. Related industrial or academic experiences are highly preferred.
