National Taiwan University (NTU) invites applications for the position of Dean of the College of Science.

As one of the eleven colleges at NTU, the College of Science currently has seven departments (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, Geosciences, Geology, and Atmospheric Science), four graduate institutes (Oceanography, Astrophysics, Applied Physics and Applied Mathematical Sciences) and one international degree program (climate change and sustainable development). Each department or graduate institute in the College of Science fulfills the dual function of education and research, offering a full range of undergraduate and graduate programs. The College is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and social impact.

It is expected that the Dean candidate should have an outstanding record of scientific achievements and be eligible for a senior faculty appointment in one of the departments and institutes. He/she should also have demonstrated an effective leadership in an academic environment.

Interested candidates should send a curriculum vita with publication list and a cover letter to the Search Committee by the official closing deadline April 17, 2019. Candidates outside NTU are advised to send application materials by April 10, 2019.
