1. To strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities among personnel working in the administration building, the University will conduct the 2026 First Administration Building Fire Emergency Response Drill at the First Administration Building on Thursday, October 15, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
2. During the drill, occupants of the First Administration Building will participate in an evacuation. Access restrictions may be implemented at building entrances and exits as the drill progresses. While these restrictions are in effect, access points will generally operate on an “exit only, no entry” basis to ensure the safety of the drill and keep evacuation routes clear.
3. To minimize disruption to visits for administrative services, document deliveries, and other administrative matters, faculty, staff, and students are kindly requested to avoid visiting the First Administration Building between 10:30 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. unless the matter is urgent. For important or time-sensitive matters, please contact the relevant office in advance to confirm service arrangements.
4. Normal office operations and unrestricted building access will resume after the drill. According to the drill schedule, the all-clear is expected to be issued at 11:10 a.m.
This drill aims to raise campus-wide disaster preparedness awareness and strengthen emergency response capabilities in the event of a disaster. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all faculty, staff, students, and visitors regarding any inconvenience to administrative services or building access during the drill.
