【National Taiwan University College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science — Computer Science and Information Engineering Group: Faculty Positions】

Recruiting Unit: The Computer Science and Information Engineering Department at National Taiwan University (including the Graduate Institute of Networking and Multimedia, and the Biomedical Informatics Division of the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Electronics and Bioinformatics)

Rank and Number of Openings: Full-time Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor — multiple openings

Applicants specializing in AI may be eligible for a joint appointment with the AI Center of Research Excellence (https://aicore.ntu.edu.tw/), subject to approval by the center’s review committee.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field is required, together with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service. We welcome applicants from all computer-science-related fields and at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor).

Selection Process:
1.The departments search committee conducts an initial review of all applications. Candidates whose expertise matches departmental needs will be invited for an interview, have their publications sent out for review, and may be asked to give a trial lecture; the committees recommendation then goes to three levels of faculty evaluation committees for approval before an offer is extended.
2.Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; early submission is encouraged, and applications will be processed in batches.
3.Materials submitted by applicants are used solely for the hiring process. All personnel records will be destroyed periodically once the hiring process concludes. Submitted materials will not be returned unless a return is specifically requested.
