Content The Deans of Liberal Arts from NTU, Kyoto, Kyushu, and Korea University share the stage to map out the future of Embodied Humanities in the AI era. Dont miss this exclusive cross-border, interdisciplinary dialogue on the evolution of teaching and research.

In the age of AI, how might the humanities be redefined and re-experienced?

Since 2025, the College of Liberal Arts has been collaborating with Kyushu University, Kyoto University, and Korea University to explore emerging questions and challenges in the humanities. In September 2025, we launched the Teaching and Research Innovation Program (TRIP). Through annual conferences featuring performances, hands-on practices, and academic dialogue, the program seeks to reimagine the humanities in the age of AI.
The inaugural TRIP conference, hosted by NTU in 2026 under the theme “Embodied Humanities: Advancing Our Engagement with the World,” will take place on June 2nd and 3rd. Covering topics from language and culture to institutional development and interdisciplinary pedagogy, the conference aims to envision an innovative future shaped by both AI collaboration and embodied humanities.
Conference Dates and Topics:
June 2nd (Tuesday) 10:00–12:00 Human-AI Co-Intelligence towards the Future
June 3rd (Wednesday) 10:00–12:00 Embodied Humanities in Teaching and Learning
The conference will be held in English. The venue will be announced on our website at the end of May.
