The International Humanity Foundation is a grassroots NGO that strives to bring education and better living conditions to children in need. With children’s homes and education centers in Kenya, Thailand, and Indonesia (Bali, Banda Aceh, Medan, and Jakarta), we provide a positive learning and living environment to give these children a chance at a better life. In addition to teaching math, English, and computer classes, we do fundraising, media, public relations, and other special projects along with dealing with the financial and legal responsibilities of running an international NGO. Bringing university students to study at our centers for intensive learning experiences allows students to go beyond the classroom and gain firsthand knowledge about the realities of poverty. This also provides endless opportunities to intimately learn about international issues that arise in the areas of education, human rights, abuse and poverty, as well as local issues such as tribal rights, land ownership, citizenship status and tribal conflicts.
