講題大綱：
瑞典模式的社會福利為瑞典在1960年代被認為是世界上最現代的社會的主要原因之一。我們將會在此呈現「瑞典模式」的社會福利以及這國家邁向現代化之整體歷史脈絡。
瑞典式現代化的重點歷史因素，在於扮演主導地位的社會民主（自1930年代起）將家庭及住宅政策與公共衛生列入政治議程的首位，我們將從此背景角度切入，檢視瑞典以及北歐其他國家社會福利模式的發展，並與國際間其他福利模式做一比較，也將探究全球化如何影響瑞典式福利模式。
During the 1960s many people considered Sweden to be the most modern society in the world. One of the main reasons for this idea was the Swedish model of welfare. What we will present is the historical background to Swedish modernity in general and the Swedish model of social welfare especially.
Important historical components of Swedish modernity is a strong state, a dominating social democracy （from the 1930s） that put family and housing policy together with public health on top of the political agenda. From this background we will discuss the specific form of welfare model that developed in Sweden and other Nordic countries, in comparison with other welfare models internationally. The present discussion about how globalization affects the Swedish model will also be discussed.

Jan Olof Nilsson
社會學博士
研究專長
Jan Olof Nilsson教授其專長在於設計發展社會學網路互動課程，特別著重在網路課程教育之發展，並且提供教師及教育決策者協助建立線上課程及諮詢。
近年經歷
自1994年於Lund大學任教至今，2007年開始代表Lund大學籌劃國際化線上學習之方案，並於2008年開始成為Lund大學之General China coordinator, advisor to the president concerning China cooperation。
專業研究方案
1997年（DUKOM）社會系遠距教學評估。
2001-2003年 （DISTUM）以創新之通訊方式進行高等教育國際化。
Kjell Nilsson
研究專長
Kjell Nilsson教授之專業研究及教學領域主要為經濟社會學、社會政策、組織社會學、評估研究、知識運用、全球化及社會變遷。
近年經歷
Kjell Nilsson教授為社會工作及社會政策博士，自1992年起至今教授社會學，並於2006年起擔任Lund大學社會科學國際方案之主任。
主持2006年Lam Institute for East-West Studies （LEWI）與香港進會大學「東西方高等教育之競爭與合作」之國際工作坊。
自2008年起於復旦大學社會發展及公共政策學院教授比較社會政策。
近期研究
1998-1999年，於瑞典國家公共衛生及社會福利處進行社會福利使用之研究。
2001-2003年，以創新之通訊方式進行高等教育國際化。
2005-2006年，研究Lam Institute for East-West Studies （LEWI）以及Wing Lung Bank International Institute for Business Development （IIBD）成員之大學國際化政策。
