公告主旨 【威盛電子】Internship Opening:Research in the area of Software-defined hardware

公告內容 As intelligent application continues to skyrocket, many infrastructure providers are embracing hardware acceleration to provide the necessary computation capability without the commensurate energy consumption. FPGAs allow traditional software developers to embed custom logic into hardware. It expects the industry needs the talent who can master both software and hardware. The candidate will work in a challenging R&D engineering environment, directly guided by CTO to develop the training material for software-defined hardware.

Prospect benefit of the Internship
The internship provides interns an opportunity to learn state-of-art high-level design techniques, investigate various architectures to explore computation efficiency. Interns gain the capability of quick implementation of an idea for future research need. The person with this skill is also needed in all infrastructure providers, e.g. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and enterprise which have computation need.

Qualifications
-Demonstrate
-Course work on C/C++/Python, data structure, algorithm, logic design, computer architecture
-Preferred experience with FPGA prototyping, Verilog
-Good command of English reading and writing, effective learning from online courses
-Self-learning and motivated research interest.
-Good command of power-point and documentation techniques.

Responsibilities
-Guided research, study, and taking on-line course to capture material to learn the technology. .
-Develop, and experiment various high-level synthesis implementation
-Develop documents for lab work, technology introduction.

Location, Work Hour
-Location: Zhongzheng Rd, Xindian District, New Taipei City
-10 - 20 hours / week
