[工作內容]
實驗室研究主軸在利用演化為工具來探索癌症發展的故事，過程中會併用實驗以及電腦生物學兩種實驗方式，冀望研究成果能讓我們了解癌細胞在不同時間，以及不同空間是如何演化？什麼樣的驅動力決定選擇的過程，如突變或是免疫監視？我們更希望能夠找出轉移的祖先細胞是在何時，何地所出現？而選擇的驅動力又是如何讓第一顆癌細胞一路演化出具有轉移能力的癌細胞？這些具有轉移能力的癌細胞又有什麼樣的分子特性？轉移的癌症是病人最主要的死亡原因，了解這些問題將讓我們對於這個過程有更進一步的了解。
[徵求條件]
沒有特殊的要求，我們會從頭訓練基本的知識跟技術。重要的是申請人必須具有對於癌症遺傳學以及演化學的熱情，或是至少對於科學感到興趣。此外，我們很注重團隊的合作以及工作氣氛，因此申請人需要對人和善，並且珍惜團隊成員的互動。具體上來說，如果對於使用動物模型來研究癌症演化，對於分析複雜的巨量資料，以及具有數學的背景並對於使用理論推導來研究癌症感到興趣的人，非常歡迎來申請。

[薪資]
按台灣大學碩士級研究助理薪資標準給薪，起薪為新台幣41,500元或以上，後看表現議薪。

Job description
The Hung lab studies the evolutionary aspect of cancer using both experimental and computational approaches. We are interested in understanding how tumors evolve at different times and in different spaces, and which selection forces, such as mutations and immune surveillance, drive the evolutionary trajectory. Particularly, we are seeking to understand where and when the founder cells of metastases arise, how the selection forces shape the path from the first tumor cell to the cells with metastatic potential, and what molecular properties these cells contain. The answers to these questions will take us one step closer to understanding the founder of metastases, which is the major cause of death among cancer patients.
Qualifications
There are no specific requirements for this position. We can teach you the fundamentals and help you take off. However, you should have a passion for cancer genetics and somatic evolution—or science in general. Additionally, you need to be friendly and collegial, as we cherish teamwork in the Hung lab.
Applicants who are interested in studying cancer evolution in animal models or clinical specimens, who enjoy analyzing complex data, and who have a background in mathematics and are excited about modeling cancer evolution are highly encouraged to apply for this position.

Salary
The standards adopted by National Taiwan University. Research Assistant （Master’s degree）: NT$41,500 and above.
