講師姓名：鄭羽絜 （Nicole Cheng）
Nicole Cheng is a passionate Taiwanese debater with five years of experience in both debating and coaching. She has broken at numerous international tournaments as both a speaker and a judge, with her highest achievement being winning the ESL Championship at Cambridge IV 2024. As an English teacher, she grounds her debate lectures in pedagogical principles and strives to make each session fun and engaging.
Nicole講師有五年辯論與教練經驗，並曾多次於國際辯論賽中晉級。她的主要成績是在2024年英國劍橋大學校際交流賽中獲得ESL組冠軍。作為英文老師，她也致力於設計符合教學原理，同時引人入勝的辯論課程。
活動簡介：
Debating can often feel distant or intimidating, especially with its wide range of topics and the pressure of speaking on the spot. However, in the age of artificial intelligence, it is more important than ever for us to sharpen our critical thinking and persuasive skills—both of which lie at the heart of debate.
辯論包含多元的議題與即席發言的壓力，因此常使人感到望塵莫及，甚至有壓迫感。然而，隨著人工智慧崛起，批判性思考與說服力的重要性與日俱增。而這兩項能力正是辯論的核心。
This lecture will introduce a beginner-friendly argument structure—CLIC—developed by the lecturer through years of coaching experience. It will also cover key debate concepts and how they apply beyond competitive settings, such as “rebuttal” and “framing.” Students are expected to take part in group discussions and mini spars to experience these skills in action.
本次講座將介紹由講者研發、適合初學者的論證架構——CLIC。另外，學生也會認識重要辯論概念及其在辯論場外的應用，如「反駁」與「聚焦」。課程中將安排小組討論與簡短對辯活動，讓學生實際體驗這些技巧的運用。
