Title Faculty positions open for the school of Occupational Therapy, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University

Content The School of Occupational Therapy, college of Medicine, National Taiwan University invites application for positions, at the rank of assistant professor or above, with the preferred starting date of Feb 1 of 2023. Candidates must have a background in occupational therapy that can contribute to the school’s educational and research excellence in areas of occupational therapy in mental health or physical disabilities. Qualification:
1.Eared PhD. Degree in Occupational Therapy or related areas.
2.Clinical experience: (1)or(2)
(1) two years or above of the clinical experience (full time or part time) in Psychiatric occupational therapy (need to provide proof of work experience) will be given priority for consideration;
(2) area of physical disability or other specialty
3.License of Occupational Therapist of ROC (Taiwan)
4.Published in SCI or SSCI journals as first author or corresponding author within 5 years. (Candidate applying for position in occupational therapy in mental health must have at least one published article related to persons with mental illness)

Responsibilities and duties:
1.Teach in the entry level occupational therapy program and graduate level program (Master and PhD degree).
2.Mentor and supervise graduate students
3.Engage in research contributing to occupational therapy in mental health, occupational therapy for physical dysfunction or community occupational therapy.

Staring date: February 1, 2023
Deadline of application: 5 PM of July 20, 2022

1.A cover letter addressing motivation and the areas of application
2.A current Curriculum Vitae (including educational background, work experiences, research grant, and publication list)
3.The copy of the certificate or proof of the PhD degree, work experience and Occupational Therapy License
4.Teaching and research plan for the faculty position
5.Additional documents related to the academic career
