Non-tenure-track Faculty Position – Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan University
The Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan University is searching for 1 non-tenure-track faculty member(assistant professor or more senior). We support diversity and hope that the candidate creates a welcoming atmosphere that attracts students. We welcome enthusiastic candidates committed to innovative teaching methods in the context of chemistry, emphasizing student-centered learning methods and integrating chemistry-related content for students of different backgrounds. The main responsibilities include: 1. Teaching fundamental core courses in Chemistry and supporting courses for other departments 2. In charge of the implementation of the experimental teaching improvement plan and developing new experimental courses 3. Applying research grants for educational research projects
Applicants must have Ph.D. degree and have at least one year of postdoctoral research experience or chemistry related teaching experience before the application deadline. Additionally, applicants should be proficient in both Chinese and English and perform main responsibilities listed above in both languages. Qualifications related to secondary-school teacher training certificate are highly encouraged.
