Job Description The Academic Writing Education Center of National Taiwan University invites qualified applicants for a full-time position of project instructor (Lecturer or above) to teach English academic writing and presentation courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Job duties include assisting academic-related assignments at the Center, and other obligations detailed in the appointment letter.
Anticipated Start Date February 1st, 2020 for one semester. Contract may be extended, typically for a full academic year, subject to job performance and available funding.
Qualifications Master’s degree or higher, approved by the Ministry of Education. Proof of degree verification must be provided for degrees from foreign institutions. Areas of specialization include critical reading, academic writing and presentations in English. Experience in teaching the subjects mentioned in 2 above. Preference will be given to applicants with near-native proficiency in English and those with interdisciplinary teaching and/or research experience.
