Content	Taiwan is a beautiful island with a multicultural society that is home to various ethnicities, religions, and languages. With the advent of globalization, international students from 73 different countries are currently studying at NTU. To cater to campus diversity, the NTU Co-op at Xiao-Fu Square will serve Halal Certification Lunch Box[1] from the First Semester of the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Furthermore, the NTU Co-op has cooperated with Jiden Cafeteria and Yuxi Cafeteria to set up Muslim Friendly Areas[2] for students and staff. For more information, please visit the Office of Student Affair’s website at osa.ntu.edu.tw. Office of Student Affairs --------------------------------------- [1]Halal Certification Lunch Box sold at the NTU Co-op is made by Halal Restaurants certified by the Chinese Muslim Association. [2]Food provided in the Muslim Friendly Area does not contain Muslim prohibited ingredients such as pork and alcohol. However, ingredients, condiments, cooking utensils, and such used with preparation of the food are not certified by respective agencies. Muslim Friendly Areas are expected to serve 4 to 6 dishes at designated areas separated with acrylic boards and labeled. Prices to be determined and posted by respective vendors.
