The Graduate Institute of Food Science and Technolgy at National Taiwan University (http://www.fst.ntu.edu.tw) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor level. We are seeking self-motivated and creative individuals to conduct research and teaching in the field of Food Processing and Engineering or Food Microbiology and Safety. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in Food Science or related discipline, a strong interest in teaching/ advising, excellent interpersonal skills, willingness to work in a team, and oral/ written competence in Chinese as well as English. Preference will be given to candidates who bring expertise to complement institutional strengths in food science and technology with industrial experince. Candidates with a strong publication record from postdoctoral training are particularly encouraged to apply. The position will be effective on February 1, 2019.
Qualified candidates are requested to e-mail all application materials, including a letter of application symmarizing qualifications relevant to the position description and examples of industry engagement, resume with a complete list of publications, official academic transcripts of undergradate and graduate studies, a copy of Ph.D. diploma, one to two page symmary of research achievement and teaching philosophy, copies of three relevant publications, proposed course description and syllabus, contact information of three professional references.
