This event will allow scientists at National Taiwan University to find out more about the opportunities for funding that EMBO provides to scientists based in Taiwan. This event will also focus on topics of interest for the scientific community, including scientific publishing and science policy.
Date: Thursday, November 23, 2017 Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Place: Auditorium, 3rd Floor, Life Sciences Building (locations will vary for afternoon sessions, please check event website)

About EMBO EMBO plays a key role in the promotion of molecular life science in Europe. EMBO Members, 1700 in Europe and worldwide, are leaders in their field and are instrumental in guiding and implementing the EMBO programmes. Those include the prestigious EMBO Fellowships, EMBO Young Investigators and the EMBO Courses and Workshops. EMBO Press publishes The EMBO Journal, EMBO reports, Molecular Systems Biology and EMBO Molecular Medicine.
EMBO and Taiwan EMBO has a co-operation agreement with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), which enables scientists from Taiwan to apply to several of EMBO Programmes and funding opportunities.
