● 講者介紹: 天野浩 (天野 浩/あまの ひろし Amano Hiroshi),日本工程學家,現任名古屋大學特聘教授,專長包括發光二極體、高功率/高頻電晶體、半導體物理、晶體成長、奈米結構等。天野浩教授開發出用於在藍寶石基板上生長III族氮化物半導體膜的低溫沉積緩衝層 (AIN),進而實現了III族氮化物半導體的發光二極體和雷射二極體。而後在名古屋大學的赤崎研究室成功生成p型GaN (氮化鎵) 磊晶層,觀測到p型材料特性,奠定氮化物發光二極體的基礎。2014年,天野浩教授憑藉「發明高亮度藍色發光二極體,帶來了節能明亮的白色光源」,與赤崎勇、中村修二教授共同獲得諾貝爾物理學獎。

● Introduction of Speaker: Hiroshi Amano (天野 浩, Amano Hiroshi) is a Japanese physicist, engineer, and inventor specializing in the field of semiconductor technology. His research on the growth, characterization, and device applications of group III nitride semiconductors, which are well-known as materials used in blue light-emitting diodes today. For his work, he was awarded the 2014 Nobel Laureate in Physics together with Isamu Akasaki and Shuji Nakamura for "the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes which has enabled bright and energy-saving white light sources." |
