職位描述：
CISCO Insieme BU was a Silicon Valley start-up company focusing on SDN SW Defined Network switches design and manufacture. It was acquired by Cisco in 2013 as part of Data Center Solution group. The switches we build are the top end of the market. They are extremely complicated and expensive, and with diverse system variations. Most with dozens of CPU/NPU in design.

Manufacture SW Diag SW group is part of HW R&D team in Silicon Valley, Shanghai, and expanding to Taipei. We are looking for an intern Software engineer to join us for Data switches product development. In this role, you will work closely with talents in the engineering team of Data Center Solution group and have the full spectrum of software development experience and also the complete view of manufacture process for the most sophisticated systems in industry.
Diag SW group隸屬於HW研發部門, 在美國矽谷, 中國上海都有研發人員, 並擴展至台北招募研發人才. 現在正招募Software engineer intern, 加入我們您將有機會和此領域的頂尖人才合作, 累積包含底層硬體驅動至上層應用的軟體開發經驗, 以及參與此產業中最精密的系統之完整生產製造流程.
Responsibilities:
·Providing platform SW including Linux kernel and drivers for all new HW
·Design/maintain manufacture SW infrastructure
·Working with ASIC team, HW team, top vendors, and state-of-the-art manufacturers
工作內容：
·負責新硬體平台的軟韌體研發, 其中包含底層Linux kernel與driver之開發
·設計與維護產品量產製造所需的軟體架構
·需要與ASIC team, HW team, vendors, manufacturer合作開發
Requirements:
·PhD/MS/BS candidate in computer science or related field
·Excellent programming skills. C or C++ is required, Python/TCL is a plus
·Familiar with Linux kernel and driver development is a plus
·Experience with x86 or ARM platform is a plus
工作技能：
·資訊或電子電機工程相關科系
·精通Ｃ或C++程式開發. 熟Python或TCL為佳
·熟Linux kernel與device driver者優先考慮
·具X86或ARM平台開發經驗者優先考慮
Working time Requirements:
·2-3 working days from Monday to Friday per week
工作時間：
·每週2-3個工作日（星期一至星期五）
Educational Background：
Bachelor. CS, EE or relevant Major preferred

資訊, 電子, 電機工程等相關科系
